Amber Shek
Amber Shek serves as Chief Operations Officer and Grant Writer for GYEDC. She brings more than five years of experience in economic development and federal grant administration. Since 2019, she has written and managed multiple federally funded projects, including U.S. Economic Development Administration grants supporting regional planning, business development, and economic diversification initiatives.

Greg LaVann
Greg LaVann serves as President and CEO of the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corporation (GYEDC). He brings more than twenty years of experience in economic development and business attraction. Under his leadership, companies in the region have created more than 3,700 jobs. He has helped facilitate approximately $3.8 billion in capital investment and supported the development of nearly 1.9 million square feet of industrial and commercial space. Greg has also helped local organizations and businesses secure more than $19 million in grant funding for expansion and infrastructure projects. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Economics from Belmont Abbey College.
